Free,
easy to use, 3D software for exploring mission data, remote experience
files and planetary science lessons. The Viewer is used to view
and add annotations to 3D Remote Experience (.pse) files (NASA Mars
data, presentations and lessons). Annotated files can be saved locally
or directly uploaded to the Community area of the EventScope server
(RDL) to collaborate with other users. The software is currently
available for Mac and PC. To download the software, use the links
below.

I choose DirectX or OpenGL?: If you have a newer
PC which supports OpenGL, use the OpenGL version of the installer
for optimal performance. If you have an older PC which doesn't

The
Authoring Tool provides advanced users with the ability to author
and edit navigable 3D remote experiences, science lessons, and compelling
scientific presentations. The Authoring Tool is a data presentation
and teaching medium which can use any VRML model. Create your own
models or start with EventScope models based on NASA data. One or
more of these models can be saved as views, annotated and organized
into a series of navigable "remote experience" pages.
Files (.pse) built with the Authoring Tool are easily viewed by
anyone using the free EventScope Viewer or Authoring Tool. The software
is currently available for Mac and PC. To download the software,

a public interactive display. This free, easy to use, 3D software
can be used to explore mission data, remote experience files and
planetary science lessons. Content for the Viewer can be easily
downloaded from the EventScope remote download folders or created
using the Authoring Tool. If you are interested in learning more
about using EventScope for a public display and creating custom

version of the Viewer has a 120 angle of view and a simplified GUI
optimized for use as a public interactive display. Circular GUI
design and wide-angle view are suited for projection systems such
as the VisionStation by Elumens. This free, easy to use, 3D software
can be used to explore mission data, remote experience files and
planetary science lessons. Content for the Viewer can be easily
downloaded from the EventScope remote download folders or created

Note:
The Wide-angle Viewer is not optimized for use on a standard computer
screen. Graphics will appear distorted and only a full-screen view
is supported.

The
TerrainScope Level of Detail Viewer created in partnership with
PlatformDigital, LLC and NASA Langley Research Center contains multi-resolution
orbital data sets. The currently available Mars and Earth data sets
allow users to visually explore multi-level (zoom in / zoom out)
geographical data for Earth and Mars in a 3D immersive environment.
