Adler Planetarium and Science Museum in Chicago is using the EventScope Wide-angle and Kiosk Viewers as part of their installation for the MER mission's Spirit and Opportunity Rovers. The Adler has installed the Wide-angle Viewer in 2 ViewStations by Elumens to create public immersive interactive displays. They have installed the EventScope Standard Viewer in a public computer classroom and are running EventScope's Level of Detail Software in a ViewStation by Elumens giving visitors the opportunity to explore multi-level geographical data about Earth and Mars. The interface allows for easy download of new Remote Experience files through a secure interface so that displays can be easily kept up-to-date with the latest NASA data coming from the Rovers. This installation is part of EventScope's work for the Mars Public Engagement Program's Museum Visualization Alliance.
